42_ secret entrance

' I wonder if this is really safe. '　「本当に安全なのだろうか。」

I observed carefully ( attentively )  the state of  the melting mineral ores from the top of chimney.

私は煙突の上から、鉱石が溶ける様子を注意深く観察した。

Surprise nailed me to the spot.　驚きのあまり、私はその場に釘付けになった。

An informer said to me before '  You can plunge plop into the secret entrance.' 

以前に、ある情報屋が俺に言った。「秘密の入り口に、ドボンと飛び込みのは可能ですよっ。」

I hold my breath. And then, I let out a deep sigh.　私は息を飲み、そして深い溜息をついた。
